There will be a a work day for the bridges at Easleyville on JULY 25th (rain permitting).

We will need Cordless drills & enough batteries to make the day, so charge them up the night before. I had a Dewalt 20v drill with 2 Lithium Ion batteries that made the day last time.

Also bring loppers, cutters, trimmers & anything else to trim back limbs since it has been a while since we have been down these trails.

We plan on meeting at Hatfields for 7:00 a.m., and rolling out to the property at 7:30 a.m.
Hey y'all is anyone heading to Sicily this weekend? Anyone meeting up to drive down together?
We will be having our July Louisiana 4x4 club meeting on Tuesday, July 7th at Frank's Restaurant on Airline Highway in Prairieville.

Come hang with us and find out what the club has scheduled as upcoming events in 2015!!!

Let me just say our club is open to any and all 4wd vehicles, not just jeeps so Yota guys and such, come on over...
People usually start arriving around 6:15 to hang out and talk about 4WD's, meeting starts at 7:15.

As always, we will be able to order off of the menu at http://www.franksrestaurantla.net/files/49140585.pdf. Also, visitors are always welcome to join us and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
Wanted to take a minute and wish all the offroad community here on Louisiana Offroad a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Looking forward to hitting the trails this year,

Thanks for your help!!

This will be our(LA4X4) second time out at Sicily Island to do a work day weekend. As it was the last time, it will be again...a work day weekend, NO riding. Your rigs are welcome but not needed. We are focusing on trail creation this time around...A lot of the trails are getting a lot of usage and are not recovering fast enough. We will be creating 2's, 3's, and 4's... We will break off in groups of 3 or 4 and be cutting new trails... I was there Saturday and the existing trails don't need much cleaning. we will discuss the Work Day Weekend more tomorrow night at the meeting and will post the results here....We challenge everyone who enjoys using the property and even the "abusers" to jump in on this adventure. We had a blast las t year and Dennis was excited to see "someone" else putting forth the effort in his park...There will be no entrance fees and camping will be allowed on the property for free but this is again a "Work Day Weekend", not a freebie ride. Come out and lend a hand, this is where some of the best times are found in this Sport!!!

Edit:just posting it in the right way so it shows up on the calender. Still march 3 and 4th
